This is a genuine UK MOD issue sling for the L1A1 SLR. This is in unissued condition and has a makers name and date printed on it, however, it is unreadable...It will date to the 1970's - early 80's. Identical to the Lee Enfield webbing slings, but made from Nylon webbing and black metal fittings.
