This is a Wilson Combat 1911 Mainspring Housing .
It is made from Stainless Steel . It is the flat version and has fine deep checkering .
This housing wil fit a 1911 , 1911A1 , Series 70 , Series 80 and full size current versions of the Colt 11911 pistol.
It will not fit the Commander or Officers Model . It will not fit the many versions of the 1911 in long barrel format without
extensive reworking .
If you live in Northern Ireland or have a 1911 in an approved range that needs a new M/S housing to continue functioning
this could be just what you need . And it is a lot less costly than from other sources.
